What is a Christian.
What is a Christian I ask myself
I'd really like to know
the people I think are Christians
sometimes make me feel so low.
I think sometimes I'm getting close
to what I'm supposed to be
I stop and watch Gods children
I am amazed at what I see.
How can they hurt my children
how can they hurt my wife
how can they try to lead me straight
and live this kind of life.
I'm supposed to love my neighbors
are they not supposed to love me
and if they do, I wonder why
it's not there for me to see.
It seems each step I try to take
I'm tripped along the way.
how can I walk a Christians path
when I hear the things, my brothers say.
I'm not putting Christianity down
I'm merely wondering how
I'm going to learn to do Gods will
if someone don't help me out.
