Too Many Prayers, Not Enough Praises.
Do you go to God in prayer
each and everyday
Do you thank him for his love
in each and everyway.
Do you thank him for your home
and each child that he raises
Or are you guilty, as I am
of too many prayers, not enough praises.
You may say Sure I go to God in prayer
each and everyday
But do I thank him for his love
in each and every way.
Prayers are great, prayers are fine
they connect you to the lord
but don't forget to thank him
and praise him more and more.
Raise your hands, and say amen
show him you're alive
Prasie him to the mountain top
Raise your voice unto the sky.
Thank your lord for all he's done
he'll do things that amazes
say a prayer, any hour
but also give your praises..
