Red White and Blue..
You've heard the song Red, White, and Blue
that Loretta Lynn has made
It makes me proud she's from Kentucky
just an old, Blue grass blade.
But what does it mean you might ask yourself
when you've heard it once or twice
to me it shows how proud she is
to be apart of a land so nice.
You say you're tired of inflation
well think for a little while
about other countries, where the only inflation
is the swollen stomach of a little child.
Think of the flies that land on its face
as it sits and starves to death
while your dog eats Purina dog chow
some poor child draws its last breath.
You might say "Well I can't help it"
and I won't say that you can
I just want you to realize how lucky you are
to live in this great land.
A land of plenty the pilgrims said
I think they were right
always be proud of what you've got
thank the Lord both day and night.
I'm glad for people like Loretta
who lets people know how they feel
I'm red, white and blue, I'm proud of it too
I think we've got a good deal.
