If There Where No God.
When the sun goes down
on these mighty hills
To think if there were no God
gives me cold chills.

The shadows grow long
the light turns to gray
If I would just listen
to what he has to say.

The time for a miracle
has not yet come
He has already proved
what his love has done.

His son died on that tree
so I could live
I think of my life
how little I've give.

If I were offered something
from someone I know
I probably would take it
with no thought of my soul.

He gives us a life
eternal I'm told
all we must do is take it
it's worth more than gold.

All we must do is love him
and accept him as our lord
take what decisions he gives
buy what he said we can afford.

Turn to him our life
and live it everyday
ask forgiveness for our sins
if we believe, he forgives, they say.

My life has been spent
in wonder and woe.
Knowing not what to do
cunning around, with no where to go.

Now that I'm getting closer
I see where I was wrong
What I don't understand is
why I've waited so long.

So when the sun goes down
on these mighty hills
I know there is a God
I will try to do his will.

I'll take his love and
his eternal life
I'll ask it for my children
I'll ask it for my wife..
