Back To School
Well the old year's over
and a new ones begun
time sure flies
when you're having fun.
Happy faces everywhere
giggling, laughing, full of cheer
it makes you feel that life is grand
it makes sweeter music than a five piece band.
Old friends are meeting
for the first time in months
their only worry
is what they're having for lunch.
Signing papers
reading and such
why it's no wonder
you missed school so much.
Yes vacation's over
and the weather's turning cool
I sure am glad
that we're back to school.
