It was the day before Christmas.
It was the day before Christmas
and all through the house
the Christmas tree was glowing
and Christmas light was all about.
The children where playing
school was finally out.
not a word about Jesus
came out of their mouth.
The parents where setting
in front of the TV
never telling their children
what Christmas really means.
The presents where stacked
neatly under the tree
and the cookies and milk
for Santa to eat.
Jesus deserves the credit
for this holiday
because it's his birthday
it's him we need to praise.
